Dermatology deals with the conditions and treatments of the skin. It is a specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. However, a dermatologist is a specialist medical doctor who manages diseases related not only to skin but also conditions related to hair, nails, and some cosmetic problems.
It could include various medications and procedures, besides medication and a major surgery, which are carried out as outpatient treatments and do not require hospitalisation.
- Acne: Acne is caused when blocked skin follicles from a plug caused by oil from glands, bacteria, and dead cells clump together and swell.

- Pemphigus:What is pemphigus? It is a disease where the immune system attacks healthy cells in the top layer of skin, resulting in blisters.
