Thyroid Disorders:
The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland at the base of the neck; any disorder related to this is called thyroid disorder. There are various types and conditions of thyroid disorders.
Thyroiditis:Thyroiditis is an inflammation of the thyroid.
Graves’ disease:There, the thyroid overproduces hormones, resulting in anxiety, hand tremor, heat sensitivity, weight loss, puffy eyes, and an enlarged thyroid.The condition is more common in women under the age of 40.
Hashimoto’s disease:It is the inflammation of the thyroid that can lead to excess thyroid hormones.
Goitre: Goitre is an abnormal enlargement of the glands, visible externally as well.
Thyroid nodule: A lump formation occurs in the thyroids.
Thyroid cancer: It is a thyroid cancer that may involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors.In a few cases, you may notice a lump in the neck.
Risks associated with thyroid disorders:
Thyroid disorder can have a severe impact on the metabolism, energy levels, excessive weight gain, bowel movements, and mental functions. It has also interfered with ovarian function, resulting in reduced fertility.

Symptoms of an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) can include:
• Experiencing anxiety, irritation and nervousness.
• Finding trouble sleeping.
• Losing weight.
• Having an enlarged thyroid gland or visible lumps on the neck.
• Having muscular weakness and tremors.
• Experiencing irregular menstrual periods or having your menstrual cycle stop.
• Feeling sensitive to heat.
• Having vision problems or eye irritation.
Symptoms of an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) can include:
• Feeling tired.
• Gaining weight.
• Experiencing forgetfulness.
• Having frequent and heavy menstrual periods.
• Having dry and coarse hair.
• Having a hoarse voice.
• Experiencing an intolerance to cold temperatures.
